Writings on the Walls of Justice

I grind my words, mystified
attempting to fill a void working on my mind
Across battlegrounds, now empty
and beyond human relief,
are my secrets safe with you?

I grieve some more for fallen angels
Some glue dissolves in hot water
Ain’t no rhyme or reason
to rally over fitful dreams
in ever-flowing increments of time
new limits undefined by word of mouth

Justice grips the hand of God
on this roller-coaster ride of life
in the fog of wrongs & rights
in the restlessness of an open mind
comforting those gentle souls of Mankind
